 Students can finish in as few as 4 weeks (8 weeks for weekend classes).
Funding is available to completely cover the cost of tuition for qualifying Virginia residents. 

Qualifying Virginia residents have the opportunity to earn a $1,000 stipend upon successful completion with the Virginia Ready program.

This training is in-demand. (Many companies are offering sign on bonuses to attract applicants and we have an employer engagement component/job placement assistance built into our classes)

Southwest Virginia Community College is offering entry-level driver training to obtain a Commercial Driver's License. Utilizing a mix of classroom, simulation, and on-the-road training, graduates of this program will obtain the knowledge and skills required to become a CDL Class A licensed driver. 

Upon successful completion, this certification will qualify individuals to drive long distances, both regionally or locally. The DMV learners permit test, state road test, and DOT physical are all required components of this training.
